What a wonderful wedding! This wedding took place at the Caton United Methodist Church. It is the perfect setting for a wedding. The church is small but beautiful. It really has that personal feeling to it. During the ceremony the couple had the guests light candles and then think a special thought for the couple and blow them out. I thought that it was a great idea and gave the guests a sense of participation in the ceremony. The reception was held and catered by Fat Cats in Corning. The reception was great! The whole upstairs was done up to include table and chairs for guests along with a serving area, bar, dance floor, a beautiful head table surrounded in a gazebo, bathrooms, and a small setting area. I have to say it is a great place to hold an event. The staff was very friendly and always on top of things. The music was provided by "Music on the Move" with Patti Fazzary. She kept things very soft and simple during the meal and then picked up the pace when the dancing started.
